Preparing for the Immigration Medical Exam
Please bring a valid identification document with you (Passport, Passport Card, National Identification Card, Driver’s License, Refugee Protection Claimant Document, Red Cross Travel Document, UN Laissez-passer, Seaman’s book).
If you have received any forms or letters from IRCC, please bring these with you.
We will take your picture at the office so you do not need to bring any photographs.

Please bring all prescription medication and prescription glasses, if you use them.

You do not need to fast for this exam.

If you are over the age of 11 years, you will need to do a chest x-ray. This is done at Fort Whyte Imaging, which is located on the third floor of our building. They close at 4:00 pm so we ask that you arrive by 3:30 pm if you are doing a walk-in appointment.

If you are 15 years or older, you will also need to do blood work. This can be done at any Dynacare lab. The closest lab to our location is about 4 minutes away by car or 20 minutes on foot.
